Nebraska’s offense has been a machine this season, averaging 43.3 points and 461.3 yards per game behind a balanced attack of the run and pass games. Northwestern is coming off its first win of the season, a 24-13 victory over Duke. The Wildcats are also 1-2 against the spread. Their offense continues to be an issue while their defense is shining. Despite holding opponents to just 14.7 points per game, Northwestern is still giving up nearly 400 yards per game. Nebraska should be able to find ways to get past this defense and put up points in the process. Northwestern’s offense has struggled against lesser opponents as well, so look for the Cornhuskers to cruise in this one.
