Louisville vs. Marshall Pick
Will Louisville continue to rack up a massive amount of points when they visit Marshall at 8:00PM ET tonight?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are 27-point road favorites versus the Thundering Herd after opening as a 24-point favorite. As for the total, the number opened at 74.5 and that's where the number currently sits.
LOUISVILLE: The Cardinals are a perfect 3-0 straight up and 3-0 against the spread after beating Charlotte 70-14 (-38.5), Syracuse 62-28 (-17), and Florida State, 63-20 (-2). Lamar Jackson completed 13-of-20 for 216 yards with a touchdown and an interception, while rushing 17 times for 146 yards with four additional touchdowns. Brandon Radcliff also rushed for over 100 yards (118) with a touchdown as well.
MARSHALL: The Thundering Herd is 1-1 on the year after beating Morgan State 62-0 as a 42.5-point favorite in their home opener and then falling to Akron 65-38 as a 17.5-point favorite last week. Quarterback Chase Litton completed 32-of-57 pass attempts for a whopping 413 yards and four touchdowns, but he also threw three interceptions in the loss.
OUR PICK: Why bet the under with Louisville, especially when playing a Marshall team that hung 62 points in Week 1 and allowed 65 points in Week 2? The over is 7-1 in the Cardinals' last eight games overall and 4-1 in their last five road games. The over is also 6-2 in the Thundering Herd's last eight games in September and 7-3 in their last 10 non-conference games.
