FIU is having a strong year on offense, averaging 39.7 points and 450.7 yards per game this season, including 230 rushing yards per game. James Morgan has thrown for 548 yards and six touchdowns to lead the offense while Shawndarrius Phillips is leading the backfield with 249 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Miami back on track
After losing to LSU 33-17 to open the season, the Hurricanes have looked good the last two weeks by picking up a 77-0 win over Savannah State and a 49-24 win at Toledo. Miami is 2-1 against the spread as well while hitting the over in all three games.

College Football Betting Trends
FIU is 4-1-1 with the over in its last six games against ACC opponents and 13-5 with the over in its last 18 against a winning team.
Miami has hit the over in four straight non-conference games, but hit the under in six of its last seven against Conference USA opponents.
Miami has been much improved on offense since facing LSU and that should continue this week against a poor FIU defense. The Panthers are going to struggle with the Miami speed and that should lead to a pretty high point total from the Canes. FIU can muster some points as the game gets out of hand to hit this total, which seems pretty low.
