College Football Betting Trends
SMU
The Mustangs have hit the over in five straight non-conference games and in five straight in September.
TCU
TCU has hit the under in five of its last six games on grass and in four of their last five games in September.
Prediction:
These two have hit the over in six of their last nine meetings. The Horned Frogs have looked good on defense thus far, especially last week on the road against Purdue. SMU is a better offensive team than the Boilermakers, but the Mustangs haven’t had a road game yet this year. Playing on the road usually leads to some offensive woes and I think that will happen against this TCU defense. The Horned Frogs are scoring, but not really piling up the offense. I don’t expect a big 50-point outburst this week either. TCU will be able to control the game with ball-control offense.
College Football Week 4 Prediction: SMU/TCU Under 55.5
