Jeff Smith also had a solid day receiving, catching five passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
VIRGINIA TECH: After beating Liberty 36-13 as a 31.5-point favorite, the Hokies fell 45-24 to Tennessee at Bristol Motor Speedway last Saturday night as an 11-point underdog. Jerod Evans completed 20-of-28 pass attempts for 214 yards and a touchdown while Travon McMillian rushed 14 times for 127 yards and a touchdown in the loss.
