Tulsa gets home opener
Tulsa gets to go home after opening up the season with road games against Michigan State and San Jose State. The Golden Hurricanes are 1-1 overall, 2-0 against the spread and 2-0 with the under.
The Golden Hurricanes haven’t been very impressive on offense thus far, averaging just 20.5 points and 309.5 yards per game. The defense has at least held up, giving up just 22 points and 325.5 yards per contest. Quarterback Zach Smith has thrown for 436 yards and two touchdowns to lead the offense while Shamari Brooks has rushed for 140 yards and a score. Oklahoma State still an offensive power
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are off to a 2-0 start thanks to double-digit wins over Oregon State and McNeese State. The Cowboys have covered the spread in both games while hitting the over in both as well.

College Football Betting Trends
Tulsa
The Golden Hurricanes have hit the over in five of their last six against Big 12 opponents, but have hit the under in eight of their last nine against a winning team.
Oklahoma State
The Cowboys have hit the over in six of their last eight road games and in 27 of their last 38 games on fieldturf.
Prediction:
I am not sure there is a defense out there that will completely stop Oklahoma State. The Cowboys just know how to put up points. Tulsa is likely to be overwhelmed on defense, even with its respectable numbers on that side of the ball. I would suspect Tulsa will see an uptick on offense with more possessions and going against a soft defense as the game progresses. Look for the over to hit in this one as the Cowboys continue to put up lofty numbers.
