Houston runs past Prairie View
After losing the opener at Oklahoma 49-31, Houston came back with a 37-17 win over Prairie View last weekend, 37-17. The Cougars failed to cover in the win, but did cover in the loss. They are 1-0-1 with the under this far.

Washington State off to 2-0 start
Coming off a strong 2018 season, Washington is off to a positive start this year with dominant wins over New Mexico State and Northern Colorado. The Cougars did fail to cover a 43-point spread this weekend, but still won 59-17. Washington State is 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under.
Washington State continues to be one of the strongest offenses in the nation, averaging 58.5 points and 606 yards through two games, including nearly 500 passing yards per game. The defense is holding opponents to just 12 points and 336 yards per contest. Anthony Gordon has thrown for 884 yards and nine touchdowns with just one interception. College Football Betting Trends
Houston
Houston is just 1-11 ATS in its last 12 games on fieldturf, but 17-8 ATS in their last 25 games in September.
Washington State
The Cougars are 8-1 against the spread in their last nine games in September and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games overall.
Prediction:
This will be a good test for Washington State, as the Cougars haven’t been really tested yet. Houston was able to matchup with Oklahoma and pick up a cover on the road. I think Houston can pose some issues for Washington State tonight. Houston has a capable offense and will be the home team even if the game is on a “neutral field”. Washington State hasn’t hit the road this year, so expect some mixups on offense to keep this game competitive.
