The Clemson Tigers failed to cover last week in a 24-10 win at home over Texas A&M in one of the week’s featured games. Clemson is 2-0 on the season, 1-1 against the spread and 1-1 with the over/under total.
Despite somewhat moderate results in scoring, averaging 38 points per game, the Tigers are still putting up 510.5 yards per game this season. Travis Etienne is leading the way on offense with 258 rushing yards and three touchdowns while Tee Higgins has eight catches for 168 yards and a score. Tanner Muse is leading the defense with seven tackles and two interceptions.
Cuse blasted at Maryland

Cuse gave up 650 yards of offense to Maryland in the loss last week, including 354 rushing yards. On the year, Cuse is giving up 31.5 points and 442 yards per game defensively. College Football Betting Trends
Clemson
The Tigers are 5-2 with the over in their last seven road games, but 13-4 with the under in their last 17 games in September.
Syracuse
The Orange are 5-1 with the over in their last six ACC games and 9-3 with the under in their last 12 games in September.
Prediction:
The under has been the play when these two meet. They went under in three straight meetings and six of the last seven in the series. Lawrence hasn’t looked great thus far to start the year and now he has his first road start. While Clemson should be able to run the ball effectively, the Tigers will need to pass the ball in order to hit this over. Syracuse is likely to struggle with the speed of the Clemson defense, so don’t expect the Orange to contribute many points.
College Football Week 3 Prediction: Clemson/Syracuse Under 62.5
