Missouri started the season with a 34-3 win over SE Missouri State at home. The Tigers didn’t cover the 39.5-point spread and went under the 55-point total. Arkansas State opened the season with a 55-6 loss at USC last weekend. The Red Wolves were getting 27 points in the game and also went under the 66.5-point total. Arkansas State actually had 401 yards of offense in the game, but had four turnovers keep it from scoring more. Defensively, the Red Wolves allowed USC to rack up 509 yards of offense. James Tabary was 7 of 11 passing for 95 yards in limited action while Michael Gordon rushed for 55 yards on 12 carries with a touchdown.
