LSU/Misssissippi State Injuries
Two SEC foes collide on Saturday when No. 25 Mississippi State hosts No. 14 LSU. Will either team not be at full strength for this big game?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, LSU is the slight favorite in this game, as the Tigers are getting odds of -4.5 points against Mississippi State. The over/under total for the game has been set at 49.5 points. These two will meet on Saturday night at 9:15PM ET on ESPN.
When it comes to the injuries for LSU, the Tigers have two injuries from the preseason as safety Jalen Mills is out indefinitely with an ankle injury while defensive tackle Mickey Johnson will miss the season for an undisclosed injury. Mills had 62 tackles last season with an interceptions and three tackles for loss. Johnson appeared in just two games last year.
The only player listed on the Mississippi State injury report is defensive back Taveze Calhoun. He is listed as probable for this game, but he missed the season opener because of an ankle injury. He had surgery following last season. Calhoun has been a starter the last two seasons and he had 53 tackles in 2014 with nine pass breakups and one interception.
