Bet on Louisville vs. Syracuse
Louisville opened up the season with an emphatic 70-14 win over Charlotte last week. The Cardinals racked up 663 total yards while holding the 49ers to 208 yards. Lamar Jackson was unstoppable. The quarterback threw for 286 yards and six touchdowns while also rushing for 119 yards and two scores. As a team, Louisville put up 272 rushing yards, averaging 7.8 yards per attempt.
Syracuse opened the season with a 33-7 win over Colgate last week. Like Louisville, Syracuse dominated on both sides of the ball. The Orange had 554 yards of offense while holding Colgate to just 143 yards. Eric Dungey had a great opening game, going 34 of 40 passing for 355 yards and two touchdowns. Amba Etta-Tawo was his top target, catching 12 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown.

The Cardinals have a big spread to cover in this game, but that hasn’t been a problem for them against Syracuse. They have dominated the last two meetings, winning 41-17 and 28-6. The Cardinals have held the Orange to under 300 total yards in both wins. The Orange won’t have the same passing success they had against Colgate, but Jackson will be very difficult for Syracuse to deal with. His running and passing ability should keep the Orange guessing and allow Louisville to win big.
