While Virginia Tech picked up a 35-21 win at Ohio State last year early in the season, despite being a 10-point underdog, the public feel like many in that the Buckeyes’ talent is too much for the Hokies to deal with. Ohio State has covered the spread in 4 straight non-conference contests, dating back to their dominance in last year’s playoffs. Virginia Tech is just 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games in September, but one of those three covers came against Ohio State.
