UL-Monroe vs. Georgia Free Pick
Points shouldn't be difficult to come by at Sanford Stadium today when Georgia hosts UL-Monroe in its home opener at 12:00PM ET.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Bulldogs are 35-point home favorites versus the Warhawks while the over/under is sitting at 53.5 points. While the side hasn't seen much movement for this game, the total opened at 54 before dropping a half point.
The over is a perfect 6-0 in Georgia's last six games versus Sun Belt opponents and 14-6 in UL-Monroe's last 20 games versus SEC foes. The over is also 22-7 in the Bulldogs' last 29 games in September and 9-4 in the Warhawks' last 13 games in this month.
Greyson Lambert beat out Brice Ramsey to be Mark Richt's quarterback this spring. Lambert started nine games for Virginia last season before transferring over the winter. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound signal-caller completed 154-of-161 passes for 1,632 yards and 10 touchdowns with the Cavaliers in 2014 and should operate Brian Schottenheimer's offense well today versus the Warhawks.
