Hawaii vs. USC Free Pick
LOS ANGELES (ATS Consultants) – No. 1USC looks for an impressive debut on Saturday night when it hosts Hawaii at 7:30PM ET from the L.A. Coliseum.
USC was 10-2 last season and 8-4 against the spread. The Trojans were 4-3 ATS at home and 2-1 ATS in non-conference play in 2011. Hawaii is coming off a 6-7 season last year. The Warriors were 4-9 against the spread in 2011, including 2-4 ATS on the road and 2-4 ATS in non-conference action.
Odds: The oddsmakers have USC as the clear favorite in this game, giving the Trojans odds of -42 points against Hawaii. The over/under total for the game has been set at 63 points.
Line Movement: Opening odds had USC as a 39-point favorite against Hawaii. The spread went as low as USC -37, but things have changed over the week, with the spread gaining 5 points.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: USC is 2-5 ATS L7 vs. non-conf. teams and 3-5 ATS as a favorite of 20 or more. This is one of those lines that is out of whack because USC is number one at home. They have several injuries at linebacker with two starters ailing. The offense led by Matt Barkley, will certainly put points on the board but so will Hawaii, under new coach Norm Chow, who takes over. He was a long-time offensive coordinator at several schools including UCLA and USC. Hawaii did beat Colorado at home and lost to Washington on the road by eight points last season. This line is a little high for a team that averaged 31.5 points per game last season.
