According to oddsmakers at GTBets, Boise State is the clear favorite to claim the conference title, as the Broncos are getting odds of -300 to win. Other short odds to win the title are San Diego State (+600) and Utah State (+1000).

The Broncos have won the Mountain West Conference twice in their short time with the conference. Boise shared the title in 2012 and won it outright last year. The Broncos were 12-2 last season and 7-1 in the MWC.

San Diego State shared the Mountain West title with Boise State back in 2012, its lone MWC title. The Aztecs were 7-6 overall last season and 5-3 in the MWC, tying Fresno State for first in the West Division.

Utah State has yet to win the Mountain West Conference title, but the Aggies have only been in the league for a few years. The Aggies were 10-4 last season overall and 6-2 in the MWC.
