According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Crimson Tide is a 4/1 favorite to win the national championship this upcoming season. The Ohio State Buckeyes have the next-best odds at 11/2, followed by Alabama’s Week 1 opponent, Florida State, which is 17/2.

Continuing with the current odds, USC is 9/1, followed by Michigan, Oklahoma and Penn State, who are 18/1, respectively, to win this year’s title. Auburn and Georgia are 22/1, respectively, followed by Clemson, LSU and Louisville, who are all 25/1, respectively. Washington, last year’s Pac-12 champs and playoff participants, are 28/1.

Some of the long-shots to win next year’s title are Texas at 30/1, followed by Florida and Wisconsin, who are both 40/1, respectively. Oklahoma State is 45/1, Notre Dame is 50/1, and Virginia Tech is 60/1. Tennessee and UCLA are 70/1, respectively, followed by Kansas State, Nebraska and West Virginia at 75/1, respectively. Miami is 80/1.
