Title Game Spread Already Moving
Alabama opened as a 7-point favorite over Clemson in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship but the line is already moving.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Crimson Tide are now a 6.5-point favorite versus the Tigers for next Monday's national title game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Alabama had opened as a 7-point favorite but the line was already bet down a half point with 63% of public bettors backing Clemson early.

These two teams combined for 85 points in last year's national championship game, but Alabama's defense ranks No. 1 in the country in total yards allowed, No. 1 in rushing yards allowed, and is No. 1 in points allowed while surrendering 11.4 PPG so oddsmakers can't make the total too high.
