Tennessee won its sixth consecutive game last Saturday with an 83-64 home triumph over the Demon Deacons. The Volunteers (10-1) jumped ahead 42-30 at halftime on its way to the victory. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Golden Eagles are 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall. The under is 10-4-1 in the last 15 Tennessee Tech games on Saturdays.
The Volunteers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six games following an ATS loss. The under is 4-0-1 in the last five Tennessee games versus the Ohio Valley Conference.
My thoughts are that Tennessee scores plenty of points in this game, but Tennessee Tech doesn't hold up its end of the bargain. If that makes you rather take the Vols on the spread, that's fine. But I think there is the possibility Tennessee slows down its pace of scoring in the second half enough to keep this under and perhaps give the Golden Eagles a backdoor cover.
