San Diego State rolled to an 80-52 home victory last Saturday over Utah in the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Los Angeles to improve to 12-0 on the season. The Aztecs led by 10 at halftime before outscoring the Utes 51-33 in the second half to pull away. Malachi Flynn led SDSU with 16 points on 5-of-10 shooting including 2-of-4 from 3-point distance plus 4-of-5 at the free throw line. He also contributed eight assists, three rebounds and two steals. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Mustangs are 15-32-4 ATS in their last 52 games as an underdog. Cal Poly is 18-50-2 ATS in its last 70 Saturday games.
San Diego State
The Aztecs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. San Diego State is 25-10 ATS in its last 35 home games.
The Aztecs played down to their competition the only time it faced a Division I opponent outside the top 300 in a narrow win over San Jose State, but I expect the focus to be here for this one considering they won't want another poor performance against a team they should handle easily. The Mustangs were brutal against a mediocre Cal Bakersfield squad and the fact they have not scored more than 56 points in their last three games is concerning. I'm taking San Diego State in a rout.
