College Basketball Betting Trends

Maryland-Eastern Shore

The under is 19-7-1 in the last 27 Hawks games overall. Maryland-Eastern Shore is 5-1 ATS in its last six games following an ATS loss.

Virginia Tech

The Hokies are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following an ATS loss. Virginia Tech is 4-0 ATS in its last four Friday games.

Prediction:

This spread seems a lot high no matter how bad the Hawks are. They don't have a loss by 40 points this season and lost by 36 on the road at a strong opponent in NC State. Presumably, Maryland-Eastern Shore has made a few strides since then. Regardless, the Hokies have bigger fish to fry in the ACC season right after this game and I can't see them putting too much emphasis in a blowout win.
