Seminoles roll past Ospreys

Florida State cruised to a 98-81 home win last Saturday over North Florida to improve to 9-2 overall and 6-0 at home. The Seminoles led 48-39 at halftime and continued to pull away after the break. Balsa Koprivica paced FSU with 15 points off the bench on 6-of-8 shooting plus 3-of-5 at the free throw line. He also pulled down three rebounds. M.J. Walker contributed 12 points and three assists. Raiquan Gray accounted for 11 points, five dimes, three boards and three steals. Dominik Olejniczak racked up 11 points, three caroms and two steals. Devin Vassell had 11 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals. Trent Forrest recorded 11 points and three boards. Patrick Williams added 11 points, four rebounds and three assists as a reserve.

Bulls fall on OT buzzer-beater

South Florida lost 76-74 on a game-winning shot at the buzzer in overtime Wednesday night against Utah State in the Battleground 2K19 in Houston. The Bulls (6-5) outscored the Aggies 37-35 in the second half, but were outscored 10-8 in the extra session. Laquincy Rideau paced South Florida with 15 points on 7-of-17 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point distance. He also registered six assists, five rebounds and three steals. David Collins also scored 15 points to go with five boards. Xavier Castaneda tallied 12 points, three caroms, two assists and two steals. Antun Maricevic added 10 points and three rebounds.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Florida State

The Seminoles are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss. Florida State is 4-1 ATS in its last five games as a favorite.

South Florida

The Bulls are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. South Florida is 5-1 ATS in its last six games as an underdog.

Prediction:

The Seminoles will be the toughest team the Bulls have played to date and they already have three losses by double-digits to teams outside the top 100. Florida State has a very deep roster and is capable of suffocating the opposition to submission. I'm liking FSU to win fairly easily here.
