North Carolina is off to a 10-2 start to the season following a hard-fought 103-100 loss to Kentucky this past weekend. That snapped a three-game winning streak for the Tar Heels. They are now 5-5-1 against the spread this season. UNC has a very high-powered offense that is putting up 89 points per game and their defense is giving up just 69.4 points per contest. Justin Jackson is leading the UNC offense with 17.1 points per game. He is one of four players scoring in double figures this season. Coming off a tough loss, I would expect UNC to bounce back in a big way. Northern Iowa hasn’t been playing good basketball this season and coming off a massive loss to an Iowa team that certainly isn’t as good as UNC. While the Heels are giving up a lot of points, they can definitely expand the lead quickly on the Panthers.
