Grizzlies get past Fighting Hawks
Montana earned a 77-70 home win Friday night over North Dakota to improve to 4-5 overall and 4-1 at home. The Grizzlies led 32-25 at halftime and held on after the break. Ducks down Wolverines in OT
Oregon secured a 71-70 overtime victory at Michigan Saturday afternoon to move to 8-2 overall and 1-0 on the road. The Ducks were outscored 40-32 in the second half to lead to OT, but then outscored the Wolverines 8-7 in the extra session. Payton Pritchard led Oregon with 23 points on 8-of-19 shooting plus 1-of-3 at the charity stripe. He also contributed four assists, three rebounds and three steals. College Basketball Betting Trends
Montana
The Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a road underdog. Montana is 0-5 ATS in its last five Wednesday games.
Oregon
The Ducks are 4-1 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. Oregon is 20-6 ATS in its last 26 games overall.
Prediction:
The win over Michigan was a statement game for the Ducks on the road, but I could see this being a bit of a letdown spot. Three of the last four opponents for Oregon have been ranked in the top 25 when it played the game, while Montana is the weakest team the Ducks have played all season. Perhaps the Ducks will not be fully prepared or focused tonight. I certainly expect Oregon to win straight up, but I'll take the points with a Grizzlies squad that has lost by 18 points or less to three top 50 teams this season.
