Hawkeyes roll past UNI

Iowa blasted Northern Iowa by a count of 77-54 Saturday in a neutral court setting. The Hawkeyes (8-2) grabbed a big 39-18 halftime advantage en route to the rout. Tyler Cook paced Iowa with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting to go with 13 rebounds and five assists. Luka Garza tallied 17 points and four boards. Joe Wieskamp added 10 points in 18 minutes. The Hawkeyes shot 29-of-54 from the floor including 10-of-25 from 3-point distance. Meanwhile, Iowa held the Panthers to 20-of-55 shooting including 6-of-29 from 3-point range.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Western Carolina

The Catamounts are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games. Western Carolina is 4-0 ATS in its last four games following an ATS loss.

Iowa

The Hawkeyes are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win. Iowa is 6-2 ATS in its last eight games versus a team with a losing straight up record.

Prediction:

The Hawkeyes have looked like a rejuvenated team its last two outings and now faces a team outside the top 300. The only three teams Western Carolina has beaten are Hiwassee, Jacksonville and UNC-Ashville. The Catamounts also recently lost to NC State by 33. This has all the makings of a blowout and I'm playing it with confidence with how well Iowa has looked lately.
