Bulls win 10th in a row
Buffalo moved to 10-0 on the season Saturday with a 73-65 home victory over Southern Illinois. Nick Perkins paced the Bulls with 20 points off the bench on 7-of-13 shooting with 11 rebounds in 28 minutes. C.J. Massinburg contributed 14 points, five boards and three assists. Davonta Jordan added 11 points and four assists. Buffalo allowed SIU to shoot 22-of-45 from the floor, but did force 22 turnovers. Orange fall to Old Dominion
Syracuse was upset at home by a count of 68-62 by Old Dominion on Saturday. The Orange (7-3) led by 10 at halftime, but was outscored 45-29 in a poor second half showing. Tyus Batttle led Syracuse with 23 points on 5-of-14 shooting and 11-of-15 at the free throw line. He also grabbed five rebounds. Elijah Hughes added 15 points, four boards, three assists and two steals. The Orange shot only 16-of-48 from the floor as a team including 8-of-22 from 3-point distance, while also going 22-of-34 at the charity stripe.
College Basketball Betting Trends
The Bulls are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. Buffalo is 4-0 ATS in its last four games versus the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Orange are 4-1 ATS in their last five Tuesday games. Syracuse is 8-2-1 ATS in its last 11 games versus MAC opponents.
Syracuse's zone defense can cause problems to the best of offenses and right now it is ranked 16th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency. Buffalo hasn't played the toughest schedule as of yet and did sneak past West Virginia in overtime on the road, but Syracuse is a tougher challenge. The Orange are going to want bounce back from Saturday's loss and I think they do that here.
