Musketeers down rival Bearcats

Xavier bested visiting Cincinnati last Saturday by a count of 73-66 to improve to 9-1 overall and 7-1 at home. The Musketeers outscored the Musketeers 41-37 in the second half to secure the win. Naji Marshall paced Xavier with 31 points on 12-of-22 shooting including 4-of-11 from 3-point distance plus 3-of-4 from the free throw line. He also racked up eight rebounds, five steals and three assists. Tyrique Jones added 10 points and nine boards.

The Demon Deacons trailed 45-36 at halftime and could not recover. College Basketball Betting Trends

The Musketeers are 4-0 ATS in their last four Saturday games. Xavier is 6-2 ATS in its last eight Saturday games.

Wake Forest

The Demon Deacons are 4-17 ATS in their last 21 Saturday games. Wake Forest is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games following an ATS loss.

The Musketeers only have won loss this season, but also have only one win over a top 50 team and that came at home against Cincinnati (49th). Wake Forest has struggled lately, but have also had its moments this season and this could be a great opportunity in front of a fired-up crowd. I see this one going down to the wire as consistency is the biggest issue for the Demon Deacons and I'm going to roll the dice on a complete performance here.
