Bulldogs get past Huskies

Gonzaga earned an 83-76 win Sunday night at Washington to improve to 10-1 overall and 2-0 on the road. The Bulldogs led 41-37 at halftime en route to the victory. Filip Petrusev paced Gonzaga with 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting plus 3-of-4 at the free throw line. He also pulled down 10 rebounds. Ryan Woolridge tallied 16 points, four boards, three assists and three steals. Killian Tillie accounted for 15 points, six dimes, five rebounds and four steals. Corey Kispert contributed 15 points and four boards. Joel Ayayi added 12 points, five caroms and four assists.

Wildcats blast Mavericks

Arizona cruised to a 99-49 home win Wednesday night over Omaha to improve to 10-1 overall and 7-0 at home. The Wildcats led 43-23 at halftime on their way to the victory. Chase Jeter helped lead Arizona with 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting plus 5-of-5 from the free throw line. He also brought down four rebounds. Josh Green accounted for 15 points, seven boards and three assists. Dylan Smith had 14 points and four caroms. Nico Mannion contributed 13 points, 11 dimes and two rebounds. Ira Lee added 12 points, six boards and two assists off the bench.

The Bulldogs are 22-10-1 ATS in their last 33 road games versus an opponent with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. The over is 5-0 in the last five Bulldogs games.

The Wildcats are 8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 Saturday games. Arizona is 1-4 ATS in its last five games overall.

There was no looking ahead to this contest for the Wildcats as they annihilated Omaha three days ago. Arizona has dominated all but one opponent on its home floor so far this season and while Gonzaga will be better than anyone the Wildcats have played to date, Baylor is in the same ballpark and that was competitive plus on the road. While many bettors seem to be siding with the Zags, I'm going contrarian and I like Arizona to impress at home here.
