Buffaloes edged by Panthers
Colorado fell by a score of 79-76 at home Tuesday night versus Northern Iowa to drop to 7-2 overall and 4-1 at home. The Buffaloes were outscored 46-44 in a game that was close throughout. Lucas Siewert paced Colorado with 21 points off the bench on 7-of-11 shooting including 5-of-7 from 3-point distance plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also registered four rebounds and two steals. McKinley Wright IV contributed 16 points, six assists, five boards and two steals. Tyler Bey added 14 points and six caroms.
Rams get past Jackrabbits
Colorado State secured a 72-68 victory Tuesday night at home over South Dakota State to move to 7-5 overall and 4-2 at home. The Rams outscored the Jackrabbits 41-38 in the second half to hold off the visitors. Nico Carvacho led a balanced CSU scoring attack with 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting plus 2-of-6 at the free throw line. He also ripped down 12 rebounds. College Basketball Betting Trends
Colorado
The Buffaloes are 13-37-1 ATS in their last 51 road games. Colorado is 0-6 ATS in its last six games overall.
Colorado State
The Rams are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. Colorado State is 3-12-1 ATS in its last 16 Friday games.
Prediction:
The Buffaloes have a fairly strong defense but can be inconsistent on the offensive end, while CSU is not particularly great on either end. The Rams have played two top-100 teams thus far this season and have lost by a total of 66 points. I don't like Colorado State's chances to stick around here against a Colorado squad that is going to come in a little salty and desperate to stick in the top 25 after two straight defeats. Give the points here.
