According to oddsmakers, the Wildcats are a 19.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 147 points. As of Wednesday morning, 63 percent of public bets are coming in on host Arizona. Check out our College Basketball Public Betting Page for the latest info.

Mavericks drop third straight

Omaha lost by a score of 73-65 Sunday at Northern Arizona to drop to 5-6 on the season. The Mavericks trailed 45-20 at halftime and could not recover. Matt Pile paced Omaha with 18 points on 9-of-13 shooting. He also contributed 13 rebounds, three assists, two blocked shots and two steals. Zach Thornhill tallied 14 points, five boards and two steals. K.J. Robinson added 10 points plus three assists off the bench.

Wildcats fall at Bears

Arizona fell by a 63-58 score Saturday at Baylor to drop to 9-1 overall and 0-1 on the road. The Wildcats trailed 35-24 at halftime and were unable to rally all the way back. Nico Mannion led Arizona with 15 points on 3-of-14 shooting including 1-of-5 from 3-point range plus 8-of-8 at the charity stripe. He also contributed five assists and two rebounds. Zeke Nnaji accounted for 12 points and six boards. Chase Jeter added 11 points and seven caroms.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Mavericks are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 games as an underdog. Omaha is 5-2-1 ATS in its last eight games as a road underdog.

The Wildcats are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Wednesday games. Arizona is 0-4 ATS in its last four games overall.

The Wildcats will look to rebound from their first loss against a Mavs team that has played three top 50 squads and lost by at least nine points against all of them. Omaha particularly struggles on the defensive end and with the Wildcats having the 13th-ranked offense in the country in terms of adjusted efficiency, there should be a lot of struggles for the visitors in terms of getting stops. I don't see Arizona having many issues in this contest and while the spread is big, I think it is capable of being dominant enough to cover.
