Panthers blast Norse

Northern Iowa rolled to a 110-51 victory over Luther Monday night at home to improve to 8-1 overall and 6-0 at home. Noah Carter paced the Panthers with 25 points off the bench on 10-of-16 shooting including 4-of-8 from 3-point range plus 1-of-1 at the free throw line. He also accounted for eight rebounds. A.J. Green tallied 19 points, four assists and three boards. Trae Berhow had 17 points and five caroms. Antwan Kimmons registered 13 points, five dimes and two rebounds as a reserve. Austin Phyfe recorded 10 points and nine boards. Spencer Haldeman added 10 points, four rebounds and four assists. Northern Iowa led 60-26 at halftime on its way to the dominant win.

Buffaloes fall at Jayhawks

Colorado lost by a score of 72-58 Saturday at Kansas to fall to 7-1 overall and 0-1 on the road. Evan Battey led the Buffaloes with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting plus 4-of-7 at the charity stripe. He also pulled down seven rebounds. McKinley Wright IV added eight points, seven boards, three steals and two assists.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Northern Iowa

The Panthers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. Northern Iowa is 12-3-1 ATS in its last 16 Tuesday games.

The Buffaloes are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 home games. Colorado is 0-4 ATS in its last four games following an ATS loss.

The Buffaloes had a couple decent wins to its credit over Arizona State and Clemson prior to being humbled by Kansas. I do think Colorado bounces back strong with a double-digit win here. Northern Iowa did not exactly have the best preparation game coming into this road test and the only top 100 team it has faced was a 60-55 loss to West Virginia on a neutral court. Look for Colorado to play a strong all-around game as it proves worthy of remaining in the top 25 for another week.
