Wolfpack rally from 15 down

Nevada improved to 8-0 on the season Friday night as it came back from 15 down in the first half to down Arizona State 72-66 in a Basketball Hall of Fame Classic contest played at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Wolfpack outscored the Sun Devils 48-30 in the second half. Jordan Caroline paced Nevada with 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting plus eight rebounds. Caleb Martin contributed 15 points, two rebounds and two assists. Cody Martin accounted for 11 points, five assists and three boards. Tre'Shawn Thurman added 10 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. The Wolfpack shot 25-of-55 from the floor, but only 3-of-18 from 3-point distance to go with 19-of-24 at the charity stripe.

Antelopes edge Boise State

Grand Canyon (5-3) outscored visiting Boise State 34-31 in the second half and held off a late rally attempt in a 69-67 victory Saturday night. Carlos Johnson led the Antelopes with 14 points off the bench on 5-of-9 shooting. He also pulled down three rebounds. Damari Milstead had 13 points, three assists and two steals as a reserve. Oscar Frayer registered 11 points, five boards and two steals. Trey Drechsel tallied 10 points, three rebounds and three assists. Matt Jackson added 10 points and six rebounds off the bench. College Basketball Betting Trends

The under is 7-2 in the last nine Wolfpack games overall. Nevada is 5-2 ATS in its last seven Sunday games.

Grand Canyon

The Antelopes are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a straight up win. The under is 7-2 in the last nine Grand Canyon games overall.

My only concern here is that Nevada played only two days ago, but this team is showing to be road warriors and it has the experience to know how to deal with some fatigue. The Antelopes have not faced a team ranked in the top 80 nationally thus far this season and still have three losses to show for an underwhelming non-conference schedule. I just don't see Grand Canyon hanging in there today against top competition.
