Tigers fall at Golden Gophers

Clemson lost by a count of 78-60 Monday night at Minnesota in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge to drop to 5-3 overall and 0-1 on the road. Hunter Tyson paced the Tigers with 12 points off the bench on 3-of-6 shooting including 2-of-5 from 3-point range plus 4-of-4 at the free throw line. He also contributed five rebounds and two assists. Aamir Simms tallied 11 points and six boards. Khavon Moore recorded 10 points and six caroms. Curran Scott added 10 points and two dimes as a reserve. Clemson was outscored 43-31 in the second half of the defeat.

Seminoles crushed at Hoosiers

Florida State fell by a score of 80-64 Tuesday night at Indiana to drop to 7-2 overall and 1-2 on the road. The Seminoles trailed 41-30 at halftime and could not recover. Trent Forrest led FSU with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting plus 3-of-6 at the free throw line. He also recorded four rebounds and two assists. Devin Vassell accounted for 10 points, four boards and two steals. M.J. Walker added 10 points and four caroms.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Tigers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. Clemson is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games as a road underdog.

Florida State

The Seminoles are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as a favorite. The home team is 5-2-1 ATS in the last eight meetings.

The Seminoles are tough at home and will want to bounce back from the poor performance at Indiana. Florida State is stout defensively, fifth in the nation in adjusted defensive efficiency. With the Tigers' main struggles being on offense, I don't see them keeping up with the Seminoles this afternoon. Clemson lost by 13 at FSU last season and another double-digit defeat is in the cards again today in my opinion.
