The Hawks improved to 5-4 on the season Wednesday night with a 92-82 victory at the Tigers. St. Joseph's led 39-36 at halftime before extending the advantage after the break. The Hawks shot 33-of-60 from the floor in the triumph including 11-of-25 from 3-point range. Jermaine Samuels came off the bench to score 15 points in 16 minutes including three 3-pointers in the second half to help lead Vilanova to a 69-59 home victory Wednesday night over Temple. He shot 4-of-6 from the floor including 3-of-3 from 3-point range plus seven rebounds. Joe Cremo contributed 11 points in 21 minutes off the bench. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Hawks are 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games versus the Big East Conference. St. Joseph's are 7-2 ATS in its last nine road games.
The under is 8-1 in the last nine Wildcats games overall. Villanova is 20-8 ATS in its last 28 home games.
St. Joseph's is outside the top 100 and have lost four of its last six games, not a good formula going into a game against red-hot Villanova. The Wildcats still have a fantastic offense and their defense has improved during the winning streak. I think Villanova rolls to another win this afternoon.
