Cyclones roll to fourth straight win

Iowa State (7-1) picked up a fourth consecutive victory Monday night with an 81-59 home victory over North Dakota State. Talen Horton-Tucker tallied 12 points, three boards and two assists. Nick Weiler-Babb added 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists.

Hawkeyes drop second straight at MSU

College Basketball Betting Trends

Iowa State

The Cyclones are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games. The over is 9-1 in the last 10 meetings.

Iowa

The over is 13-5 in the last 18 Hawkeyes home games. The over is 7-3-1 in the last 11 Iowa games on Thursdays.

Prediction:

Iowa State is probably a little underrated right now as evidenced by all of its seven wins being by at least 12 points, but the fact is it doesn't have a win over a top-75 team and lost by five against a mediocre Arizona squad. The Hawkeyes might be a little overrated if anything right now, but after being humbled at Michigan State I expect the focus will be strong at home against a rival. Look for the Hawkeyes to take care of business in what should be a close and entertaining contest.
