Huskies sneak past UCSB

Washington (6-2) picked up a 67-63 home victory Sunday night at home over Cal-Santa Barbara. The Huskies led 26-21 at halftime before holding off the visitors in a higher-scoring second half. Washington shot 22-of-53 from the field in the win and a solid 8-of-20 from 3-point range. Noah Dickerson led the way with 22 points on 6-of-8 shooting plus 10-of-13 at the charity stripe. He also pulled down eight rebounds and blocked two shots. Jaylen Nowell contributed 17 points, five assists and four rebounds. Zags put up triple figures for second straight game

Gonzaga outlasted host Creighton 103-92 on Saturday as it outscored the hosts 62-44 in the second half. The Bulldogs (8-0) shot 35-for-67 from the field including 11-of-29 from 3-point range plus 22-of-27 at the free throw line. Zach Norvell Jr. paced Gonzaga with 28 points on 9-of-21 shooting with five rebounds. Brandon Clarke had 27 points, 10 boards, two steals and two blocked shots. College Basketball Betting Trends

The Huskies are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games vs. the West Coast Conference. The over is 17-5 in the last 22 Washington games versus the WCC.

The Bulldogs are 4-0 ATS in their last four Wednesday games. Gonzaga is 4-0 ATS in its last four games overall.

While I feel the spread is about where it should be, the total might be set a bit too high. Yes, the Zags have been nearly impossible to stop this season but they bring a solid defense to the table and Washington plays at a slower than average pace while showcasing a formidable defense. Take the under tonight.
