Buckeyes blast Bears

Ohio State rolled to a 90-57 home win Friday night over Morgan State to improve to 7-0 overall and 7-0 at home. The Buckeyes led 45-18 at halftime en route to the victory. Andre Wesson led OSU with 19 points off the bench on 4-of-4 shooting, all from 3-point range, plus 7-of-7 at the free throw line. He also pulled down seven rebounds. Kaleb Wesson accounted for 13 points, eight boards and two assists. C.J. Walker added 10 points and three dimes.

Tar Heels get past Ducks

North Carolina downed 11th-ranked Oregon Sunday in a Battle 4 Atlantis consolation game. The Tar Heels (6-1) led 46-41 at halftime and held on from there. Armando Bacot paced UNC with 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting plus 9-of-10 at the charity stripe. He also racked up 12 rebounds and six blocked shots. Cole Anthony accounted for 19 points and five boards. Brandon Robinson added 13 points, four assists, three caroms and two steals.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Ohio State

The Buckeyes are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall. Ohio State is 6-13 ATS in its last 19 games as an underdog.

North Carolina

The Tar Heels are 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall. North Carolina is 0-6 ATS in its last six games following a straight up win.

It's time to take the Buckeyes for real. They have a veteran roster and while they have played all their games at home so far, a fairly weak schedule does have at least one quality dominant win over Villanova plus other victories over solid Cincinnati and Kent State squads. Ohio State is fantastic defensively, with only Virginia better at the current moment in adjusted defensive efficiency. I'll take OSU here as I think it can take advantage of some of the youth on the Tar Heels.
