Rams prevail in opener

Colorado State won its season opener at home Tuesday night versus Denver by a score of 74-63. The Rams led 34-26 at halftime en route to the win. NCAA Basketball Trends

Colorado State

The Rams are 1-4 ATS in their last five Friday games. Colorado State is 16-39-2 ATS in its last 57 non-conference games.

The Blue Devils are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games. Duke is 6-0 ATS in its last six games versus the Mountain West Conference.

Normally, there might be a letdown after such a huge win on a neutral site. But with this being the home opener for Duke, the crowd is going to be in a raucous state and ready to impact the game on their own. The Blue Devils lost a lot from last year's squad, but Tuesday night showed it still has the pieces to be a very strong team. I'm going to take a shot on Duke dominating from start to finish to cover the big number.
