Adams to transfer from KU
LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) – Kansas freshman guard Anrio Adams had been granted a release to transfer to another school.
Coach Bill Self says he met with Adams and believes it is in his best interest to look for a school closer to his Seattle home.
Adams played in 24 games last season, averaging 3.5 minutes per game and scoring 27 points. His season high was 11 points against Texas Tech in the Big 12 tournament.
Adams said he believes playing closer to home is better for him and his family.
