Defensively, Portland is giving up 110.5 points per game while opponents shoot 45.6 percent from the field. The team recently lost Jusuf Nurkic for the season with a leg injury while CJ McCollum continues to be out with a knee injury. NBA Betting Trends
Portland
Portland is 12-3-1 against the spread in their last 16 against Central Division opponents, but 0-4 ATS in their last four on no rest.
Detroit
The Pistons are 5-0-1 against the spread in their last six against Western Conference opponents and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 at home.
Prediction:
The Blazers are playing really well right now, even with he loss of Nurkic. However, I think tonight’s game will be an issue. Portland played last night in Atlanta and is in its third road game in four days. The Pistons also have a lot of players in the paint that can dominate the glass and cause problems for a Portland team that just lost their center. The Pistons have been playing much more competitive as of late, including just a 5-point loss at Portland a week ago when the team had Nurkic.
NBA Prediction: Detroit Pistons -5.5
