Friday, March 30, 2018
Location: UNT Coliseum, Denton, Texas

The spread opened with North Texas favored by 3.5 points. The spread then climbed to its high of 4.5 and held there. The over/under total opened at 140 points and simply added the hook soon after.
PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION
As of Friday morning, the public betting for this contest is behind North Texas. The Mean Green are getting 82 percent of the wagers as a home favorite against San Francisco.
North Texas has nobody new listed on the injury report for tonight’s game. San Francisco forward Matt McCarthy is questionable for the game with an undisclosed injury. He averaged 8.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest this year for the Dons.
San Francisco won the first game in the series on Monday, 72-62. However, North Texas responded with a 69-55 win at home on Wednesday night. The home team have covered the spread in both instances of this series and they have hit the under in both games.
North Texas managed to win on Wednesday despite continuing to struggle shooting. They were just 2 of 18 from the arc and 27 of 68 from the field. However, they turned the ball over just three times and forced 16 turnovers from the Dons. The Mean Green also had a 43-31 edge in rebounds. Jorden Duffy led the Mean Green with 15 points and nine rebounds while Souley Boum scored 16 points off the bench for San Francisco.
North Texas has yet to shoot well in this series and it still has a chance to win this series at home. Eventually the Mean Green are going to find their shot but that shouldn’t keep it from being able to play strong defense. The Dons turn the ball over too much and can’t compete in the paint with the Mean Green. I think North Texas cruises to another big win tonight.
CBI TOURNAMENT PREDICTIONS: NORTH TEXAS -3.5
