Public favors MSU, Duke on Sunday

LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) - Public bettors are siding with both favorites in today's Elite 8 matchups.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Michigan State is a 2.5-point favorite over Louisville at 2:20PM ET today and Duke is a 2-point favorite against Gonzaga in the later matchup at 5:05PM ET. The winners of both games will determine the final two spots in this year's Final Four.

As previously mentioned, the public likes both favorites to cover the spread today. Our College Basketball Public Betting page shows that 64% of public bettors favor the Spartans -2.5 while 59% of public bettors like the Blue Devils -2.

The public split on Saturday when Wisconsin covered as a small dog versus Arizona but Kentucky didn't come close to covering as a double-digit favorite versus Notre Dame. In fact, the Wildcats nearly lost outright but came from behind to win 68-66.
