Seminoles blow past Racers

Florida State dominated Murray State to the tune of 90-62 Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to move to 29-7 on the season. The Seminoles established a 50-34 halftime advantage en route to the win. Florida State shot 36-of-71 from the floor, 11-of-27 from 3-point distance plus 7-of-9 at the free throw line. Mfiondu Kabengele led the Seminoles with 22 points on 10-of-12 shooting including 2-of-2 from 3-point distance off the bench. He also contributed seven rebounds and three blocked shots. Terance Mann tallied 18 points, eight boards and six assists. Raiquan Gray added 11 points, five steals and three caroms.

Zags take down Bears

Gonzaga shot 31-of-57 from the field, 7-of-20 from 3-point range plus 14-of-21 at the free throw line. Brandon Clarke led the Bulldogs with 36 points on 15-of-18 shooting plus 6-of-8 at the free throw line. He also notched eight rebounds, five blocked shots, three assists and two steals. College Basketball Betting Trends

Florida State

The Seminoles are 4-0 ATS in their last four games versus the West Coast Conference. Florida State is 4-1 ATS in its last five Thursday games.

The Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last six non-conference games. Gonzaga is 1-6-1 ATS in its last eight games versus the ACC.

The only two losses the Bulldogs have had over the last 18 games have come against North Carolina plus Duke on tired legs in the ACC Tournament. The Seminoles also have victories during that stretch over the likes of Louisville, Virginia Tech (twice), Virginia and its two NCAA Tournament wins. Needless to say, FSU is playing great basketball. It's a deep team full of talent and parts that fit depending on the matchup. The Seminoles are 10th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency and I think it will help them keep it close against a Gonzaga team that ranks as the most efficient offense in the nation.
