Connecticut vs. Iowa State Odds

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Iowa State is favored in this game, as the Cyclones have odds of -1.5 points against Connecticut. The over/under total for the game has been set at 147 points (View Matchup). These two met back in 2012 with Iowa State picking up a 77-64 victory.
Iowa State is now 18-15 against the spread while hitting the over in 19 of 33 lined games. The Cyclones have won six straight thanks to a 93-75 win over No. 14 N.C. Central and an 85-83 win over No. 6 North Carolina last weekend in the tournament. ISU and UNC played a competitive game throughout, but it was the Cyclones that got the win thanks to a DeAndre Kane layup with two seconds left. Iowa State shot 29 of 66 from the field and 12 of 26 from 3-point land in the game. Kane finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists to lead the Cyclones while Melvin Ejim added 19 points.
Connecticut is 19-15 against the spread and the Huskies have hit the under in 21 of 33 lined games. Connecticut defeated No. 10 St. Joe’s 89-81 in overtime and No. 2 Villanova 77-65 in last week’s action. The Huskies held Villanova to 18 of 51 shooting from the field and 11 of 31 shooting from 3-point land. They also forced the Wildcats into 16 turnovers. Connecticut shot 9 of 20 from beyond the arc in the win. Shabazz Napier had 25 points and five rebounds to lead Connecticut while Lasan Kromah had 12 points and four steals off the bench.
