Bulls breeze past Sun Devils

Buffalo earned a 90-74 victory Friday over Arizona State to improve to 32-3 on the season and advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bulls led 44-31 at halftime and continued to control the action after the break. Buffalo shot 31-of-60 from the floor, 10-of-27 from 3-point distance plus 19-of-26 at the free throw line. Jeremy Harris paced the Bulls with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting including 3-of-7 from 3-point distance plus 2-of-2 at the charity stripe. He also notched 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals. Nick Perkins contributed 21 points and 10 caroms off the bench. C.J. Massinburg tallied 18 points, six boards and two assists. Jayvon Graves added 13 points, four rebounds and two assists.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Buffalo

The Bulls are 9-2-1 ATS in their last 12 non-conference games. Buffalo is 20-6-2 ATS in its last 28 neutral site games.

Texas Tech

The Red Raiders are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall. Texas Tech is 11-24 ATS in its last 35 neutral court games.

Prediction:

This should be a very fun game pitting a deep and talented Buffalo team that is on a 13-game win streak against a Texas Tech squad that was the Big 12 Conference regular season co-champions. The Red Raiders are the second-best defensive team in the nation in terms of adjusted efficiency, while Buffalo is the better team on the offensive end and is also strong on the defensive end while playing at a frenetic pace. If Buffalo can set the tempo and frustrate the Red Raiders with its ability to score, I think this one goes down to the wire and the Mid-American Conference champs have a great shot at pulling off the upset. I've loved what I have seen out of Buffalo this season and am taking the points here.
