Can Wisconsin pull off the small upset tonight in the Sweet 16 when the Badgers take on Florida at 9:59PM ET?

According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Gators are 1.5-point favorites versus the Badgers while the over/under currently sits at 131.5 points. Neither the spread nor the total have moved as of this writing.

After an ugly second half led to a 71-56 loss to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game, the Badgers have put together back-to-back impressive performances to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. They beat Virginia Tech 84-74 as a 6-point favorite in the opening round, then pulled off one of the bigger upsets on the tournament by knocking off defending champion Villanova 65-62 as a 5.5-point underdog in the second round. Wisconsin has now won six of its last 10 games and is 6-4 against the spread during that same span.

Florida breezed through the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament, knocking off East Tennessee State 80-65 as a 10-point favorite in the first round, then crushing Virginia 65-39 as a 2-point favorite in the second. The Gators have now won seven of their last 10 games and are 5-5 against the spread during that stretch.

OUR PREDICTION: Florida is one of the most athletic teams in the tournament this year but Wisconsin plays the type of grind-it-out style that could frustrate the Gators. Led by Bronson Koenig and Ethan Happ, Wisconsin is also a veteran team with plenty of Final Four experience on its roster. The Badgers have also been a fantastic bet as an underdog in NCAA tournament games, going 7-1-1 against the number in their last nine March Madness matchups when listed as a dog. The Badgers are also 4-1 against the spread in their last five NCAA tournament games overall, while the Gators are just 1-4 against the number in their last four games coming off an ATS win.
