Midwest Region Updated Odds
LAS VEGAS, NV (TheSpread) – The Midwest Region features the clear NCAA Tournament favorite. Get a look at the latest odds to win this region.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kentucky is the clear favorite to reach the Final Four, as it has 1/4 odds. Notre Dame and Wichita State each have 7/1 odds while West Virginia has 18/1 odds. The Midwest Region semifinals and final will be held on Thursday and Saturday from Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
Kentucky is 36-0 on the year and the top seed in the region. The Wildcats beat No. 16 Hampton, 79-56, and then beat No. 8 Cincinnati 64-51. Kentucky faces West Virginia on Thursday.
Notre Dame is the third seed. It beat No. 14 Northeastern 69-65 and then topped No. 6 Butler in OT, 67-64. The Irish will face Wichita State on Thursday night.
Wichita State is the No. 7 seed in the region. It defeated No. 10 Indiana 81-76 before dismantling No. 2 Kansas, 78-65. It will now face Notre Dame in the regional semifinal.
West Virginia is the fifth seed in the region. It beat No. 12 Buffalo 68-62 and then topped fourth-seeded Maryland 69-59 on Sunday. The Mountaineers meet Kentucky on Thursday night.
