According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Virginia is the favorite in this game, as the Cavaliers have odds of -5.5 points against Memphis. The over/under total for the game has been set at 129 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.

Virginia is 18-11-2 against the spread this season and the Cavaliers have hit the under in 15 of 29 lined games. Virginia got a good scare on Friday at the hands of No. 16 Coastal Carolina, but the Cavaliers ultimately won, 70-59. Virginia found itself trailing by 10 points in the first half, but turned in a dominant 40-24 second half on Coastal. Despite early offensive struggles, Virginia shot 21 of 40 from the field for the game and 8 of 17 from 3-point land. Anthony Gill came off the bench to score 17 points while Malcolm Brooks had 14 points with five rebounds and five assists.

Memphis is 17-13 against the spread this season while hitting the under 19 times. The Tigers are coming off a hard-fought 71-66 win over No. 9 George Washington on Friday. There was no real defining numbers in the game other than George Washington going just 14 of 24 from the free-throw line. Memphis shot 27 of 55 from the floor but was only 6 of 22 from 3-point land. Michael Dixon had 19 points off the bench to lead Memphis while Joe Jackson added 15 points and six assists.
