Arizona State advanced Tuesday after downing St. John's by a count of 74-65 in an NCAA Tournament play-in game. The Sun Devils (23-10) had a fast start and led 38-25 at halftime before holding off a second-half rally by the Red Storm. Luguentz Dort paced Arizona State with 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point range plus 8-of-9 at the free throw line. He also tallied four rebounds, two assists and two steals. Zylan Cheatham added 14 points, 10 boards and two steals. The Sun Devils shot 22-of-49 from the floor, 5-of-12 from 3-point range plus 25-of-33 at the free throw line.

Buffalo defeated Bowling Green by a count of 87-73 Saturday in the Mid-American Conference Tournament title game to clinch its automatic bid. The Bulls (31-3) outscored the Falcons 48-35 in the second half after leading by only one at halftime. Buffalo shot 29-of-62 from the field, 13-of-33 from 3-point range plus 16-of-21 at the free throw line. Jeremy Harris paced the Bulls with 31 points on 13-of-20 shooting including 4-of-8 from 3-point distance plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. He also notched five rebounds and two assists. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Sun Devils are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven Friday games. Arizona State is 4-1 ATS in its last five games overall.
The Bulls are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall. Buffalo is 19-6-2 ATS in its last 27 neutral site games.
Buffalo has five wins over top 100 teams this season - West Virginia, San Francisco, Syracuse and Toledo (twice). Arizona State is as beatable as any of those teams coming out of a Pac 12 Conference that struggled to earn respect all season. The Bulls are stronger than the Sun Devils on both ends of the court and while it might stay close for much of the game, I expect Buffalo to overwhelm Arizona State eventually. Additionally, the Bulls will be more-rested playing against the tired legs of the Sun Devils.
