The East Region of the NCAA Tournament featured the most upsets of all. Which team remaining will ultimately advance to the Final Four?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida is favored to emerge from this region, as the Gators have +180 odds. Baylor is listed at +210, Wisconsin at +230 and South Carolina at +550. The East Regional will be contested from Madison Square Garden in New York.

Florida is the No. 4 seed entering this regional semifinal. The Gators defeated No. 13 East Tennessee State, 80-65, and then beat No. 5 Virginia, 65-39, to reach the Sweet 16. They will face Wisconsin on Friday and are seeking their sixth Final Four appearance this weekend and their first since 2014.

Baylor is the No. 3 seed in the East. The Bears defeated No. 14 New Mexico State, 91-73. In the second round it best No. 11 USC, 82-78. Baylor has made the Final Four just twice, last doing so in 1950. The Bears face South Carolina on Friday.

Wisconsin is the eighth seed in the region. The Badgers had a big weekend, beating No. 9 Virginia Tech 84-74 before upsetting top-seeded Villanova in the second round, 65-62. The Badgers last made the Final Four in 2015 and they have made it four times in program history.

South Carolina is the seventh seed and probably the biggest surprise in the region. The Gamecocks beat No. 10 Marquette, 93-73, then had arguably the biggest upset last weekend when it beat No. 2 Duke, 88-81. South Carolina has never reached the Final Four.
