According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, San Diego State is the slight favorite in this game, as the Aztecs have odds of -3 points against the Bison. The over/under total for the game has been set at 125.5 points (View Matchup). These two have no recent meetings.
San Diego State is now 18-13 against the spread while hitting the under 22 times. The Aztecs advanced to today’s game thanks to a 73-69 OT win over New Mexico State on Thursday night. San Diego State didn’t have its best game, shooting just 39 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from 3-point land, but it did enough to win in the end. Xavier Thames had 23 points and five assists to lead Aztecs while Josh Davis had 10 points and 14 rebounds.
North Dakota State is 13-14 against the spread while hitting the over 14 times. The Bison have now won 10 straight following Thursday’s 80-75 overtime win against No. 5 Oklahoma. The Bison held the Sooners to 34.7 percent shooting while hitting 52.9 percent of their own shots. North Dakota State was also big at the line, hitting 20 of 22 attempts. Lawrence Alexander led NDSU, as he had 28 points with eight rebounds and four assists. TrayVonn Wright added 14 points and five rebounds.
